What would you do before you die? I came across this on Twitter and it stopped me 'dead in my tracks' as they say. What's important to you to do in your lifetime? http://www.stumbleupon.com/su/198bOF/candychang.com/before-i-die-in-nola/
It sounds like a cliche, but I hope to do something meaningful to make the world a better place. Maybe this will get me off the dime to teach art in the schools where programs have been cut, or teach women who have lost hope to find their purpose through watercolor journaling.

Currently living on small island in the Adriatic. Many people have very little. I help where I can from driving people with no cars to the hospital, doing errands for them, helping with shopping. Help a sister and brother, in their 90's, who live down the street and have no living relatives. Try to live up to the Cursillo saying, "Bloom where you are planted."
ReplyDeleteMy true dream would be to help those who don't feel that they can help themselves or don't have the means to do so. Abused women, children, and even animals.
ReplyDeleteOn my job, I see things on a day to day basis that show me two things, there are incredibly good people in this world, and incredibly bad people.
Maybe if everyone could pull all their positive energy together and do something good for someone else, it could make a huge difference. Just one little gesture but each person....
Great post to get us thinking and maybe some positive action will come of it.
